merry christmas: 100 years

merry christmas everyone! I hope you're all having a lovely day and enjoying being with your family, and your presents.

this isn't exactly a cheery type post, more of an appreciation post.
As most of you probably know this year has marked 100 years since the first world war, where many brave people lost their lives fighting for this country and other countries too. In November, around the time of the actual day of the 100 years, i visited France and Belgium to see my uncle George and my granddad Joe, who died in the first world war.
i'm writing this to say thank you to them and to all the other men who lost their lives, if they hadn't of gone and fought our lives would be completely different and I'm really grateful.

merry christmas granddad joe and uncle george and to everyone else who fought and are still fighting for us, you will always be remembered...

i hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and hope that everyone remembers the people who are less fortunate and have no family or anyone to share christmas with, or who have no home to be in.
God bless.

love dais xx

* I know this post isn't a very christmassy post so i may post again later on but i really think that this post was relevant and more thoughtful that showing you what gifts I got or posting a photo of a candle...

OH and happy birthday jesus! haha
