Zoella: Blissful Mistful Body Mist

I recently bought the Zoella Body Mist from Zoella's new beauty range. I think all of Zoe's products look amazing and so cute! This is the only thing i've bought at the moment because everything else was out of stock.

I LOVE this so much! It's a really light smell and it smells very girly! I think she did an amazing job with the smell because it's not very offensive at all like other sprays so i think lots of people will like it! Well, I defo do so that's something I suppose!

Lush : Rose Queen Review

This is the bath bomb that came with my rose themed gift box, and it was lovely!
I put it into the water when it was almost done running (which takes a lifetime in my bath because it's massive) and it de-fizzed and it smelt fab! Like roses (duh dais, well done for stating the obvious) when I got in the bath there were little roses in it (which I did at first think were spiders but after further investigation I found that they were cute little flowers) my bath was a beautiful shade of pink!

I had a gorgeous bath with this bath bomb, I smelt like a florist when I got out the bath, which in my head is a good thing, I really liked this bath bomb and I'd definitely get it again!

Lush: Rose Gift Box

I was given a Lush gift box for my birthday and it's called rose, and if you didn't already guess by the name all the products in it are rose themed/scented. I love all the things in the box, I know I do because I have tried them all before... I don't think there's anything in Lush I haven't tried before to be honest. Anyway, These are the things that came in the box.

Fave Comfort Foods

It's getting into the colder months now (which are by far my favourite of the year) and this is the sort of time when I start eating unhealthier foods.. I don't know why maybe it's the inner squirrel in me coming out??.....

These are my favourite ones at the moment :
They are all quite unhealthy but I don't eat them 24/7 so it's ok... I hope...

Do you have any favourite comfort foods?

Purdey's Rejuvenate Multivitamin Fruit Drink

This.. Is my new favourite drink, it's soooo nice! And seen as i'm trying to be alot healthier this is perfect!
It does taste a little bit like wine I think, so I don't really know why I like it so much I just do! It's fizzy water but with fruit juices basically and it's got vitamin B in it which I am REALLY in need of because I'm a vegetarian, (I do want to become a vegan but my mum and dad won't let me haha) so yeah, I just looove it so I thought i'd tell you about it!

Easy Salted Caramel Macaron Recipe!

Hii,
So today I made salted caramel french macarons and the turned out really well, so I thought I'd share the recipe because it was so delicious!
Ingredients:
To make the actual Macarons: (makes about 20 macarons)
 220g (7.76 ounces) icing sugar
120g (4.23 ounces) ground almonds
120 g (4.23 ounces) egg whites (3-4 medium egg whites)
80g (2.82 ounces) caster sugar

To make the buttercream filling:
Half a teaspoon of salt
Caramel Flavouring (1 Cap full)
140g (5 ounces) Butter, Softened
280g (10 ounces) Icing sugar
1-2 tbsp milk

  • *Preheat oven to 150C, exactly.
  • *Sift together the icing sugar and ground almonds using a sieve. Get rid of  any gritty bits of ground almonds that do not go through the sieve.
  • *Beat together the egg whites and caster sugar on high speed until they are stiff enough that you can turn the bowl upside down without them falling out.  Beat for an additional 2 minutes.  Add the almond icing sugar mixture and fold in using a spatula.  Keep gently folding until the mixture looks like lava, but it can't be runny.
  • *Spoon into a piping bag or food storage bag (Like me) and pipe small circles of mixture onto  baking paper. Slide onto a baking tray and bang on the bench firmly several times on each side.
  • if you are using a food storage bag, spoon the mixture in, push down to a corner and snip of the end of the corner, this will work like a piping bag. This is an easier method than the piping bag because you can just throw it away afterwards!
*Place in the oven (you do not need to leave them to sit on the bench with this recipe) and bake until a foot has formed and the shells are crisp.  This takes roughly 20 minutes. Don't open the oven (as I found out after my first batch) because this will crack them and make them collapse and they'll also be hollow!
  • *Cool and then gently peel off the baking paper and pair similar sized shells.
  • FOR THE BUTTERCREAM FILLING
  • *Mix together the Icing Sugar and Butter until slightly combined.
  • *Then add as much milk as needed to make it combine fully
  • *Add a cap full of the caramal flavouring and mix
  • *Spoon onto one half of the macaroon and sandwich them together
  • These would also be nice as little gifts or something like that, if you put them in a plastic wrapper like me. (I got them from home bargains for 99p!)

There You Go!
Give them a try because they are seriously so yummy!

Candles

So carrying on from yesterdays post, I got quite a few candles! If you've ever smelt the new york next scent you'll understand that I was very excited about this, it's such a lovely smell!

I also got a little house lantern, you put a tea light inside it and it looks like the lights are on in the house which I think is super cute!
Another candle I had was the cotton blossom one, it smells gorgeous and very..clean, (my rubbish describing words have made a come back)
